tranquileyes question

hi all
i've seen comments here about tranquileyes and so i got some recently but i'm sort of confused about exactly what to do with them.
do most of you use them with warm water inserts???

Hi, Betty.

People use them for lots of different reasons. For instance, some use the thermal inserts as a warm compress for MGD. Some people use them for a respite after a long day of computer use by wetting the foam pads and resting the eyes. I, personally, sleep with them. I do not wet them, and they help me to keep my eyes closed while I sleep and to wake up with control over my eyes, so that I do not tear my corneal epithelium, as I am prone to do when I sleep without them.

I tried using them wet at night, but I found that the water created a kind of moisture that made my eyes feel drier than if I let the moisture from my face do more of the work.
