Thumbs up Happy 74th Birthday to Dr. Frank Holly !

Frank Holly, Ph.D., is having a birthday today.

I'm sending best wishes to my personal dry eye hero.

Without Dr. Holly's drops Dakrina and NutraTear, I would not be in the positive situation of dewy-eyed post-Lasik corneal health that I celebrate today.

And believe me, fellow readers, I was among the greatest of skeptics years ago when my dry eye friend "Ethel" started raving about those eyedrops in her "Dwelle Diary" on another bulletin board.

I hope that everyone who has benefited from these drops will send Dr. Holly a special word of appreciation (or at least a kindly thought) today!

    Thanks for posting this, Mary!

Happy birthday, Dr. Holly! You saved my quality of life and vision. I will never be able to express my gratitude, so enormous is my debt to you.

    Thumbs up

Yes, Yes, Yes..........Happy Birthday, Dr. Holly.
I'm in your debt also, as your drops are my standby and still fave after all these years. Mary, Rebecca, "Ethel" (Cindy) and I were among the first users of the Dr. Holly drops as they rolled off the "line" in Dr. Holly's Texas homestead.

    Dearest Scientist and Personal Savior!

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR DR. HOLLY! I don't think it is possible for me to convey the magnitude by which your brilliance and years of profoundly groundbreaking science and discovery have changed my life for the better. I wish for you blessings of health and happiness commensurate with the great healing you have made possible for me and many others!

    Echo, echo, echo!!!

Very few of us SurgicalEyes bulletin board veterans from the old days around anymore. What times those were. We had none of the gear, none of the products, none of the information, and sadly no acknowledgment whatsoever of the seriousness of dry eye nor of the fact it can be caused by LASIK. When we were blessed with not just the drops but Dr. Holly himself it was a breath of fresh air. He painstakingly educated so many people and held our cyber-hands through the recovery process. He has put a great deal of time into helping people individually over the years, to say nothing of the impact of his drops on many people's lives (including mine ).

All the best, Dr. Holly, from a longtime fan.

I'm another one of those Surgical Eyes veterans, who was amoung the first to try Dr. Holly's drops. I would like to wish him a Happy Birthday and thank him for his caring and willingness to help those with parched eyes. Though I still suffer corneal erosions, Dr. Holly's drops are the only thing that has cut down the frequency of these occurances. A heartfelt thank you goes out to you Dr. Holly!

    Thumbs up Heartfelt Appreciation

Today is January 16. It has taken me that long to get back to my favorite website. First it was a vicious virus attack on a computer that held about ten years of my work. I could have revived the machine but only by seriously risking the data.

Then I had a health problem, than a cancer scare, then the opiates and other neurotransmitter agonist started to cloud my brain, which I would not stand for prior to putting my intellectual heritage in an understandable form.

Thank God, I am getting straightened out at the cost that my energy has to be split among the dry eye and my own neurological problems, which I will try to solve (the best method actually for me) by worrying about other people who have the same type or similar problems.

Well, I did not mean to dwell in my problems I just wanted you to know that I did not just desert you all. With tears in my eyes I was reading your gracious notes in this thread starting with Madame Badami, a real lady I had the fortune to meet at Rebecca's Well Being meeting in Tampa. Bad that my memory is, I recalled every one of you!!!

Thank you again and God bless you all!

I will start to answer question again as much as I can. The cancer care was just that. A scare!

    Welcome Back!

Welcome back to the Dry Eye Zone, Dr. Holly!

    I missed you!

Since your last visit, we've been referring people to your posts for your expertise, so you were still helping others while you were working on other matters.

I am glad to hear that your health issues are resolving. May you continue to feel improved.

Best wishes in the New Year,
    Liz

happy belated birthday to one of my heros - Dr. Holly xo

Dr. Holly - as others have said, I can never thank you enough for your help over the years, particularly when I was in the depths of despair back about 6 years ago. You were so giving of your time, guidance, and resources. You pulled me from the brink to where I am now - happy with minimal eye discomfort (and when I do have discomfort, it is my own fault!). my thoughts and prayers are with you in return to get you through your health issues - no one deserves a life free of trials and tribulations more than you. So glad the cancer scare was only that!

So, Dr. Holly, from one Capricorn to another - happy happy birthday!!!

    Love, Lynnie
