    Rice cooker as humidifier?

    Can we use rice cooker as Humidifier? Instead of rice and water .... just water, turn the cooker on and boil. Is this practical? Any health hazards ? Has anyone tried this ?

    a rice cooker could humidify a very small area. I would be concerned about the steam coming out of the rice cooker. It is really HOT.
