    Good morning,
Diagnosed with dot map dystrophy in 2004 and it's been a mess.
    Cataract surgery both eyes
Laser for false cataract both eyes 3 months later
Corneal debridement left eye 4 months after that.

Eye drops, eek, about $200. a year. I tried the restasis and it hurt my eyes horribly. So this morning since my left eye is so sensitive to light I'm having debridement done plus diamond burr and meomycin C applied. I wanted PTK done but my surgeon doesn't do that.

Not looking forward to surgery, last time the pain was off the charts. This time they claim it won't hurt at all, I don't think so.

Hi there & welcome... sorry I didn't notice this before. Sorry to hear what you've been through.

Anything done to the epithelium tends to hurt a lot, sigh. I'll have a look at your other post now...
