Dry Eye Specialist in Las Vegas??
Does anyone have a dry eye specialist in Las Vegas or even just a great opthamologist?
I've been to two optometrists and one opthamologist in the area and not one has been able to provide any insight.
Natalie, I found this thread in the 'plug a doc' section. Check there you might find other docs
Hi there LV Natalie,
I live in Las Vegas too, I was wondering if you had any luck with an Opthamologist. I too haven't had an real luck, although those I have seen tried hard to help me.
Still no luck - but lots of attempts.
Did you manage to find anyone? I've been considering travelling to see someone, but I can't even find someone within driving distance.
I've been going to Dr. Brimhall in Centennial Hills. He's the best so far that I've tried. He has helped me and is very considerate.
My dry eyes morphed into blepharospasms then apraxia of the eyelid. I have been seeing Dr. Janice Eggert, who is recommended by the blepharospasm foundation. She did a bilateral upper eyelid myectomy which helped for a short time, so recently I had a bilateral frontalis sliing done by her and it's amazing that my eyes now stay open. Yes they do get dry so I use hot packs, a humidifier and sterile drops when needed. I also have clonazepam for the anxiety to control the spasms. Botox did not do much for me, so now we've found success forf now, and I hope, forever! I am driving and reading again for the first time in four years!
