    Eye allergy, lid problems

Post from user KRISHIV - I have copied it here from the Open Forum as I think you will better understand this situation - thanks! - Rebecca

This is krishiv. I am suffering from a kind of allergy which is due to dust. I have very small pimple like structures inside my upper eyelids. I am having them since past 3 years. I dont know what they call it in medical language, but it is called as Rohe in hindi. After consulting almost 4 doctors I came to know that this is a knid of dust allergy, and occurs in the patients with dry eye. I have also made them removed three- four times from doctors, but I dont find any kind of use and the same condition persists. I have never weared lenses, but as I have a weak eyesight, hence I need to wear lenses. But doctors recommend me not to wear contact lenses until this problem is totally removed. Buit nothing seems to work. Can I get some help in this respect. I have a feeling like that of sand particles in my eyes.

I am sorry but I am not sure what this is without a picture. It sounds like either concretions which are white hard granules found under the eyelids that can cause irritation and are usually from allergies to anything. But it could also just be a papillary reaction which is a non specific bumpiness found under the lids that implies something is irritating your eyes like an allergen. I need to see a picture.

    Hi! Thanks for your reply.
These are actually concentrations which are white hard granules. I am sorry , cannot provide you with the picture, because they are below the eyelid. They are of the sixze of a needle tip. doctors told me they are due to allergy from dust. I have them in both of my eyeslids, and when I close my eyelids i get the feel of sand particles in my eyes.

If they are truly concretions and they are rubbing against your eye see a cornea doctor as they are easily removed in the office and could help. But without examining you it is hard to say for sure. But I remove them in my office all the time.
