Fortifeye Vitamins and Lange Eye Care have been involved in a new bioavailability study using Fortifeye Super Omega. We are finding that close to 100% of the study participants taking two fortifeye super omegas a day are getting an omega index over 8%, typical omega index is about 4% in most Americans. When the omega index is 8 or above studies now indicate it can drop your risk of a fatal heart attack by 90%!!! We are also seeing levels of pro inflammatory arrachidonic acid going down in this study group. My protocol for our dry eye population is to put patients on two a day of the super omega fro mild to moderate dry eyes and up to four a day for moderate to seere dry eyes. We are finally almost completed our new dry eye extreme research, these omega three studies have really helped. We have seen minimal improvements in the omega index in the majority of omega threes we have tested including falx seed oil and krill oil, Happy Holidays and Happy New Years to all.
