  • Tea Bags to relieve eye redness

Has anyone tried using tea bags that have been soaked in hot or cold water on their eyes? I have tried it the past 2 days and it seems to help take away some of the redness...I am assuming it constricts the blood vessels. I have a feeling it is just temporary relief, but it does seem to work. I wonder if one could sleep with the tea bags on their eyes underneath their sleep mask. I am concerned about the staining that might take place if placed on there too long. I looked for other threads about this topic, but I did not find anything.

Hello! Welcome to this helpful website!
I use tea bags and I feel the problems are helped.
I like green tea so that is the type I use.

I've tried this and found it very relaxing, and good for the skin around my eyes too. But I kept ending up with tea in my ears so I had to stop!
