I'd give my right eye...

On Restasis for about 31 days now...

On oral doxycycline for about 24 days...

I have noticed improvement in my eyelid health and I'm thankful for that. Unfortunately, the burning dryness on the surface of my right eye continues and surprisingly, it seems to be growing worse in my left eye.

The possibility is that the burning in my lids was so intense that I was not actually aware of how bad the dryness on the surface of the eye actually was. I'm not sure.

I am sure of this - I'm doing all I can. I'm taking all the supplements including lots of flaxseed oil. Also taking NAC twice a day. Doing a hot compress and lid massage every afternoon. Hot showers twice a day. Humidifier is almost always running. As a patient, I cannot think of a single other thing I can do to improve my condition.

I guess from here on out it's maintain my routine and wait for the doctors...
