    Like I said before, the doctor in a hospital (I had to wait 5 weeks of waiting list to see a doctor since my erosions started!) said I had dry eyes due to MGD. He said “You glands are blocked”. His prescription included just eye drops and warm compresses.

  2. What (could have) triggered my DE condition

    So I am 34 and new to this dry eye thing. What triggered my condition? I still don't know for sure. Once thing I know: it started soon after an eye infection.

    In January 2013 I developed an eye infection: swollen lids, red eyes, pus. I was stupid, and didn’t do much about it. It went away by itself after a week and a little. I felt fine.
