Ocular Rosacea

I have rosace on my facial areas (another yucky thing to have that has no cure!) and am now wondering if my dry eyes are partly due to ocular rosacea. The treatment is the same as dry eyes anyway, I think. I just wondered if anyone with ocular rosacea had any breakthrough treatments?

my daughter has dry eyes and at a recent visit to sick kids hospital in toronto, we talked about ocular rosacea--he said that since I had it on my chin, it is possible she has it also--he suggested washing her eyelashes with baby shampoo when she is in the bath. hope this helps.

Isn't that an auto-immune disease? The doctor at the research hospital said that most people with dry eyes and the problems it causes have some kind of auto-immune problem such as Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritus. He found none of them in me. However, I suppose my allergies are really part of an auto-immune disease.
