Reducing Work Hours [Archive]

I have just requested to reduce my work hours due to my dry eyes. I am so grafeful that my boss is such an understanding soul and that he too has suffered from a pain issue in his life. I am feeling a bit sad by this. I am trying to put a positive spin on it though! Perhaps the reduced hours in front of a computer will help my sore eyes.

I never thought that I would be in such a place 9 months after laser surgery!! I know that I still have lots of healing time, so I am confident that my condition will improve. Life is a journey and I am committed to having a good one no matter what.

I don't even know why I am posting this, I just really needed to share.

Sorry to hear you had to reduce your work hours, but I'm glad to see your positive attitude towards this! You are right, you still have lots of time to heal. Keep up the positive thoughts, and I hope your decreased hours help provide you with more comfortable eyes.
