I've been plagued with starbursts and halos for the past 3 years. I had lasik in 1999. My opthomolgist can't help me. He's at a loss. I've used just about every drop/gel on the market but nothing seems to help. What do you suggest?

Although these types of complications could be a result of dryness they may also from a number of other things. Small pupils, decentered ablation, residual prescription etc and these need to be ruled out before you blame dry eyes. If your halo goes away with a drop of refresh plus even if for a second then there is a dryness component. If it does not then most likely you will find your problem is not dryness.

I have seen an opthomologist and an optomotrist. Both agree it is dry eye.

This may be true but if I got a nickel for every time I heard that I would be able fund research to find a cure for dry eyes tomorrow.
