Eye spasms and forced blinking and dry eyes..

I have a question to ask the doctor i have mgd and blepharitis, also started blinking uncontrollably when i first got it now its slow painful eye spasms..As the day progresses this steadily be becomes worse so i can hardly open my eyes after 5 pm ..why is this.Im having to book any appointmenta in tha mornings cos of this..Ive been on 100mg doxycyline once a day for four months..Am worried sick..regards cb/

This sounds like benign essential blepharospasm secondary to the corneal irritation from dry eye induced by the MGD. I'm surprised your eye doctor has not commented on it. The primary treatment for this condition is botulinum toxin (Botox) injections. Perhaps you can pose the question to DrL and get his opinion.
