How many times a year do you visit your eye specialist?

Curious to know how many times a year individuals who suffer from DES other than myself visit an eye specialist. I generally go 2-4 times, and it's aggravating each time I go because of the liquids and lights they put in your eye. After hearing the same stuff again and again I'm thinking once maybe enough.

I go so many times, I don't even want to count. Right now, I've been going every week because I have to have my bandage contact lens removed and a new one put in. And I have alot of emergencies with RCEs, had vitrectomy which requires many follow-up visits. If I count the money I've spent on my eyes in the last year and a half, I'd have a real nice bundle! But I gotta do what I gotta do. Without doing so, I wouldn't be able to work.
